Meet Niu the Haunter, and Sanura the Aron! These lovely gals are the royal embalmers of Kaol - they are the best, and thus serve only the best of the city, the nobles and royals of Kaol.
Ostracized except when a body needs embalming, these two worship the dark deity of death, a great black shadow with a billowing white hood and bloody red collar. Those who work under the worship of this deity are marked by a pristine white tattoo on their forehead.
Niu was not originally a Haunter, and became one after dying as a Tyranitar. So attached to her duties, she continued to preside as the Chief Embalmer, undertaking several apprentices, the latest of which is the petite and shiny Sanura. Rather mischievous and proud of her worship, Niu has always been, and continues to be rather snarky and care-free.
Sanura is the opposite, serious, stern, and quiet, she is single-minded in her worship and duties. This suits Niu well, as she can tell the small steel creature to do her duties and Sanura will not hesitate to do so. Sanura, having been shunned not only for her shiny coloration, but also her darkened body tones and born of a noble family at the new moon, was lured to the temple of the Shadowed one, and met Niu who was working on the rites over the sarcophagus of the late Empress, Eli’s Mother. Fascinated, she watched and after the rites were completed, Sanura approached the Haunter and inquired about an apprenticeship. Niu was all too eager to have someone to dump her physical duties on - Rites are sacred and only completed by the Chief Embalmer, but the gory tasks such as removing organs and placing them inside their jars was not Niu’s favorite.
Alrighty! Got these three finished up, haha.
The Sewaddle is named Asuza, Arabic for ‘Lily’. Shee is the founder of the small papyrus printing business - she grows the crop herself with the aid of the Relicanth, who provides the water necessary for the cultivation of the crop. Akram is timid and mild-mannered, and very fond of anything to do with paper. She prides herself in crafting high quality papyrus rolls, and they are some of the best in the desert.
The Relicanth is named Eshe, Egyptian for ‘Life’, came to work for Asuza purely by chance. Being a Relicanth who doesn’t like living in water, he wandered to the desert, and the small plantation of Papyrus. Seeing they were drier than they should be, he doused their marshy field with some extra water. As he began to leave, he heard a cry. Asuza was so happy at the sudden ‘flood’ of water she had begun to cheer out loudly, dancing about in the puddles with glee. Seeing her so happy, Eshe approached, and asked if water was so difficult to come by. Asuza replied yes, and offered Eshe a job to keep her plants well watered and protected.
Finally, the Kabuto calls himself Lotus. He doesn’t talk much, but he has been friends with Asuza for years, and helped her learn the art of papyrus making when she was little. He raised her after her parents died when she was still an egg, carefully tending her minuscule egg. He has been making Papyrus for personal use long before he met Asuza’s expecting parents.

These lovely ladies are Embalmers in the city of Kaol. No names for them either, unfortunately. The Haunter is the chief embalmer, while the Aron is her assistant.
In the city of Kaol, only females are allowed to undertake the embalming position - the position is sacred. Only those who can usher life into the world are permitted to seeing ushered into the afterlife.
Alrighty… pretty behind, but I haven’t had a chance to scan these (and the following pokemon) in and work them digitally yet.
I don’t have names, but these three are all friends who work together as a small paper factory. The Sewaddle grows the papyrus, the Relicanth provides the water for both the plants and the processing of the paper, and the Kabuto cuts and makes the sheets of paper.

Flygon! No, this is not Tau, haha.
This is a non-sentient Flygon named Ka-Safiya, who is the one who pulls Eli’s Carriage house. Eli raised Ka-safiya from the egg, and has an extremely close bond with her. All children of the Kaol family are given an Egg when they are old enough to have a companion. The child is completely responsible for the care and comfort of the creature as they grow, and if they die the child is NOT given a second chance at raising a companion, unless it was out of their control and unavoidable.
Flygon are considered doubly blessed a species in the Kaol Culture, as they harbor red coloring AND have three blades on the end of their tails. Thus, it is commonplace for the children to choose to raise Trapinch as their choice companion. However, other species have been chosen such as Rampardos, Arcanine, and many other species.
Trying to catch up here, haha. Day 4, Poison type! Dragalge!
Meet Lewis! This fellow is a reclusive young Dragalge who specializes is neutralizing poisons, toxins and venom. He is capable of controlling his skin toxicity, so he is safe to touch. Alongside antivenins, antidotes and cures, he develops his own potions, beverages, etc.
No, this is not Rhampor. This is his mother, Rhoma Amethistina-Nightwing! Amethistina is her Family name, those of that Old bloodline that are born Aerodactyl are given this name alongside their father’s name (if the father is not of the Amethistina family). Rhoma’s husband is a ‘french’ Crobat named Franquet Nightwing. Rhampor is their eldest child, followed by Lola the Golbat, and Rhomilda the infant Aerodactyl.
The Amethistina Family has their own legacy - a massive Arena dubbed the Competition Colosseum where pokemon of all ages, types and sizes can come and show their prowess in power-limited contests. Some contests allow for specific powers, but most allow for no powers at all. Meaning, not using abilities, moves, items, etc.
Meet Ken Atlas, a cook at a Diner that (DuskyDusky) has begun to plan for the PMDU universe. I won’t reveal anything other than that, however!
Yes, I am aware Heracross technically only have two arms - but they are an INSECT dangit! So I draw them like this. :3
